I have been practicing Chinese Medicine acupuncture for more than 6 years and I never had patients presenting the same signs and symptoms of anxiety.

In Chinese Medicine, anxiety is diagnosed using a combination of different methods.

These methods include pulse diagnosis, tongue diagnosis, and questioning.

By feeling the pulse at various locations on the wrist, we can assess the quality, rhythm, and strength of the pulse. Different pulse characteristics are associated with different imbalances in the body, which can help determine the root cause of anxiety.


The tongue is observed for its color, shape, coating, and moisture level. These observations can provide insights into the overall health of the body and help identify any imbalances that may be contributing to anxiety.


We ask detailed questions about the patient's symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, and emotional well-being. This information helps to further understand the individual's unique condition and identify any underlying causes of anxiety.
